Good news for the teachers of Assam. The Government of Assam has decided to provincialize 4290 posts of teachers and 355 Schools will also be provincialized . As per the latest advertisement released by Assam Government.

With effect from 1st January, 2021 Government of Assam will provincialize 197 High School, 9 Higher Secondary School and 149 Junior College or Senior Secondary under Director of Secondary Education

 

In this advertisement it is clearly mentioned that , With effect from 1st January, 2021 Government of Assam will provincialize 197 High School, 9 Higher Secondary School and 149 Junior College or Senior Secondary under Director of Secondary Education.

Assam Education Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma also announced on the same topic in a press meet which was held in Guwahati on Saturday.

At a press conference at Janata Bhawan, Guwahati Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that Assam Government will provincialize 197 High School, 9 Higher Secondary School and 149 Junior College or Senior Secondary under Director of Secondary Education.

The pending work of irregular teachers will be completed within next 2 months

The List of the Schools which will be provincialized will be out on August 15, 2020.

In the saturday press meet Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said , ” The first list of provincialised Schools and Colleges will be published on 15th August, 2020. The Second list will be published in October, 2020. All these will be effective from 1st January, 2021″

Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma also added that the first list includes 355 High schools, 3359 teachers under Directorate of Senior Secondary, 30 Colleges and 931 college teachers including left over teachers.
